“Springtime at Second Steps” - A new view for Wade who says of this piece “ A collector approached me to commission this spot, a favorite for him and his family. I probably would never have noticed it, since I don’t frequent the Carlsbad campgrounds much. With the iconic Lifeguard tower in the foreground and the Power Plant in the distance, I fell in love with the scene both for its simplicity and yet how familiar this type of picture is throughout Southern California.
