Reference photo used is from Mike Lloyd, local Carlsbad photographer who shoots a lot around Terramar and South Carlsbad. Of this painting Wade says" I did three paintings of this scene and this last one is my favorite. This last version seems to give the most accurate feeling of this view, which I have observed so many times".
