Roxy Jam Cardiff 2008 - The winning surfboard of the board builders contest at the Roxy Jam in Cardiff California sported a beautiful "Tahitian Collage" painting by Koniakowsky. The board was a Craig Hollingsworth-shaped Hansen Surfboard. The board received the most the most "votes" (raffle tickets sold) and proceeds went to the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy.

East Coast Tour July 2008 – Wade’s 2008 East Coast tour was a success with a sell-out show at Montanaro Gallery in Newport Rhode Island. The tour included Aloha Gallery in Montauk, NY as well as stops at surf retailers and select venues, wrapping up at the Art of Surfing Festival in Ocean City, NJ.
