"The ocean is my inspiration. My art is a reflection of this great
force that has shaped my life ." Wade Koniakowsky has spent his entire
life involved with the ocean and art. He now lives and works on the
California Coast with his wife and daughters.

• Roxy Jam Cardiff 2008 - The winning surfboard of the board builders
  contest at the Roxy Jam in Cardiff California sported a beautiful
  "Tahitian Collage" painting by Koniakowsky. The board was a Craig Hollingsworth-shaped Hansen Surfboard. The board received the
  most the most "votes" (raffle tickets sold) and proceeds went to the
  San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy.
• Billabong June 2008 - Surf wear giant selects to Wade paint surfboards to decorate new Billabong stores in New York, Maui, etc.
